Resort Development

In 2018 Wyndham Destinations, formerly the timeshare division of Wyndham Worldwide, spun off Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, to become a separate public company trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol WYND. Wyndham Destinations subsequently acquired the Travel and Leisure brand, forming the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company.

Recognizing the resilience of vacation ownership to economic downturns, Red Bridge formed a partnership with Salt Lake City-based Gardiner Properties, LLC, to provide a unique financing and development offering to the timeshare industry.

We have working relationships with Wyndham Destinations, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Hilton Grand Vacations, Holiday Inn Vacation Club, and Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, all of which are seeking to grow their portfolios in partnership with a third-party developer providing turnkey, off-balance sheet, capital light projects.

Club Wyndham Canterbury 2010

Through his connections with the San Francisco-based Lurie Company, Rick arranged the sale of the historic Canterbury Hotel, which had been owned by Lurie since the 1960s.

The hotel was acquired by Wyndham Worldwide, and converted into a highly successful vacation ownership resort, part of the Club Wyndham Avenue Collection of metropolitan resorts. Sales of vacation ownership interests were strong in the face of the severe financial crisis that began in 2008, shortly before opening the property.

Club Wyndham Park City 2015

Our first new-built timeshare resort project was the Club Wyndham Park City at The Canyons, a 90-unit luxury ski-in, ski-out vacation resort, which we delivered to Wyndham on time and on budget.

It has been one of Wyndham Destinations’ most successful projects and formed the basis of a relationship with Wyndham leading to a follow-on development.

WorldMark by Wyndham Moab 2022

Our second Wyndham project is the 150-suite WorldMark Resort in the spectacular adventure destination of Moab, Utah, offering a desert retreat for outdoor enthusiasts exploring the nearby Canyonlands and Arches National Parks.

Set along the pristine Colorado River, the new resort is backed by the iconic red rock landscape and sits less than 5 miles away from Arches National Park. Thoughtfully designed to complement the colors and textures of its local surroundings, the Moab Resort features a glass entryway and infinity pool that overlooks the river basin, allowing the natural beauty of the area to take center stage.
