Rick David, Principal
Richard M. David holds an MBA degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, and a JD degree from the University of San Francisco. He is a member of the California State Bar, and a licensed California real estate broker. His professional experience includes international banking, trade finance, commercial law practice, real estate, and clean energy project development. He lives in San Francisco with Lauren, his wife of 32 years. Their 3 children have flown the nest to college and graduate school, but Rick and Lauren love visiting them at their respective universities, and eagerly await their visits home. Rick enjoys swimming year-round in San Francisco Bay with his friends at the Dolphin Club, playing golf whenever possible, and traveling, including to his native South Africa, where he has family in Cape Town.
Rick’s vision and eye for good properties has been a key to the firm’s success. The other key ingredients have been close collaboration with partners, and diligent execution. Beginning in 1993, together with seasoned investors who recognized the opportunities presented by the downturn in the real estate markets, Red Bridge made a series of hotel property acquisitions.
